Hearts Landing Ranch has grants for Placer County active duty and veterans & dependents and El Dorado Counties Veterans and we are working with VetCenters to bring more Equine-Assisted Programs to you.
Dress for the weather. This is an outside event. Summer we do have professional misting system.
Hearts Landing Ranch is an award-winning non profit dedicated to "building a community to impact a community" by serving our communities most underserved; foster youth, victims of crime and human trafficking, veterans, first responders and their families. HLR offers mental health & behavioral therapy and learning using experiential, land-based programs. Often people are too ashamed or stuck, to sit and talk about what they have been through or what they need. With Equine-Assisted Therapy, we can accomplish in months, what might take years in talk therapy.

There are many ways to help and each of us contributing makes a difference to transform lives. Here are some ways you can help Hearts Landing Ranch make a difference:
- Contribute to Covered Round Pen: Increases our Sessions Year-Round, and help us on our way to launching a new PTSD Riding Program. This would help us get out of the sun on 104-degree days, and out of windy rain in winter. This help not only gives clients a more comfortable space to work, but helps remove some of the wear and tear on horses and humans working in the elements all day long.
- Sponsor sessions for those who could otherwise not afford them.
- 8-week EAP Therapy Group Scholarship: $2,000
- 8-week EAP Therapy 1:1 Scholarship: $3,000
- Sponsor a Horse: Any amount is meaningful! Total horse costs are $967/month, or
- Fund a Need and Sponsor one aspect for a horse one time or monthly for cost per horse of maintaining hooves ($50), or supplements ($35), stall shavings ($200), fall shots ($150), teeth floated ($350), fly spray ($85)
- Contribute to Capital Funds for Covered Arena and HLR Office & Training Center
